Utilizing the Assignment Activity in IQRALMS for Interactive Learning

This article provides a comprehensive guide on how to effectively set up and utilize the activity within IQRALMS. The Assignment activity allows educators to create interactive exercises with branching paths based on student responses, enhancing engagement and personalized learning.

Detailed Steps to Set Up and Use the Lesson Activity in IQRALMS

 Step 1: Accessing IQRALMS and Enabling Edit Mode

  • Log in to your IQRALMS account with administrative or instructor privileges.
  • Navigate to the course where you want to add the Lesson activity.
  • Ensure that Edit mode is enabled to make changes to the course content.

Step 2: Adding a Lesson Activity

  • Click on ‘Add an activity or resource’ link.
  • Select “Assignment” from the list of activities and click ‘Add’.

Step 3: Configuring Lesson Settings

  1. General Settings:
  • Enter a “Name” for the Lesson activity.
  • Optionally, provide a “Description” that will appear on every page of the Lesson.
  • You may also write activity instructions for students.
  • You may also add or drop files.
  1. Availability:
  • Configure availability options such as allow submission from, due date or cut-off date.
  • You may also set the reminding date of grading for yourself.
  1. Submission types:
  • Decide how many files a student can submit.
  • Select whether the submission will be text, online file or both.

Step4: Submission Settings

  • Decide the submission attempts, and whether the students required to click the submission button.
