Biography

Prof Dr.Muhammad Masroor graduated from Dow Medical College with gold medal and roll of honour .
He did post-graduation in Medicine from College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan ( CPSP ) and obtained MCPS and FCPS .He was awarded Fellowship( FRCP) by Royal College of Physicians Glasgow .
He is currently working as Dean,Faculty of Health Sciences in Iqra University a high ranked private sector university. He is a member of Governing Body of KMDC and Abbasi Shaheed Hospital as well.He was an elected member of Faculty of Medicine and Council of CPSP.
He has vast experience in the field of medicine,medical education, research and educational administration. Remained for over 35 years in Dow Medical College/ DUHS and LUMHS .He worked in different capacities in DUHS including as meritorious professor medicine, Principal DIMC and DIDC ,Director OICD,Director Ojha Campus and Pro Vice Chancellor. He was Member of BoG AQ khan institute of behavioural Sciences.He is an Examiner of under and postgraduate in Medicine
He also remained Commissioner Health, Sindh Health Care Commission from 2019 to 2022 .
He also worked as acting Registrar and Chief Controller Examination CPSP
He is a recognized Supervisor of training leading to fellowship in Medicine and produced over 20 Fellows.
.He is a peer reviewer of local and international journals and himself publishedover 40 research papers.
His strengths include critical thinking ,problem solving , resilience, integrity and honesty .
