Biography

Shaista Zafar is teaching pharmacycourses as an Assistant professor at the Department of Pharmacy, IqraUniversity, Karachi, Pakistan. She has been working in the pharmaceutical sector  forover ten years. She is also involved in different researchprojects at the University of Karachi Pakistan. She developed and implemented thecurriculum for the Pharm. D. and M. Phil research programs. She is recognized for her contributions to advancing knowledge inthe field through teaching and research. She publishedmore than 11 research papers in reputable journals in the areas of drugsynthesis, drug development, in-silicostudies, physicochemical properties of drugs, and sustained-release therapeuticproducts. She has a proven ability to teach and mentor students, contributing totheir academic and research growth. She also worked in pharmaceuticalproducts manufacturing at the industrial level and played a key role in themanufacturing/packaging of solid (Tablets/capsules), ointment, and liquiddosage forms. Where she applied research interests tothe development and production of pharmaceuticals. She demonstrated a commitment to staying current withindustry trends and innovations through continuous learning and professionaldevelopment, advanced academic achievements, teaching proficiencywith impactful research, and industry expertise, positioning her as a versatileprofessional with a comprehensive understanding and a proven track record ofsuccess in Pharmaceutical teaching, research, and development programs both inacademia, and industry.
