Biography

Associate Professor Dr. Muhammad Shahnawaz Adil is the Director of Academics, Advanced
Studies, and Research of IQRA University, Pakistan. He joined IQRA University in August 2008 as
an Assistant Professor of Management. Prior to that, he has worked with SMEs, MNCs and
Federal Government in the UK. He served Department of Business Administration as the Cluster
Head of Management from January 2020 to May 2024. He holds more than 17 years of full-time
university teaching, research, mentoring, and thesis supervision experience at graduate and
post-graduate levels. He has presented various research ideas at national and international
conferences abroad and has published over 25 research papers in national and international
journals. He has also published a monograph on Leadership and Strategy in Germany. He
completed a ten-day comprehensive Training of Trainers (ToT) conducted by the Sindh Higher
Education Commission in May 2023.

He earned his Ph.D. in Creative Performance from an AACSB and AMBA-accredited business
school of Malaysia. Earlier, he received a Postgraduate Diploma (PgDip), a ‘triple-crown’
(AACSB, AMBA, & EQUIS accredited) MBA, and BSc Honors full-time degrees from London, UK.
He has secured seven consecutive ‘Distinctions’ in his academic career and has clinched the
First Class First Position at Sindh Board of Technical Education. He is an HEC-approved Ph.D.
supervisor and has successfully co-supervised one PhD candidate in the Department of English
and Linguistics. Moreover, five Ph.D. candidates of Management discipline are in the final stage
of submitting their doctoral thesis under his sole supervision. Earlier, he has successfully
supervised over 32 MPhil theses, 250+ MBA theses, and 45 industrial projects of MBA students.
