Biography

Dr. Muhammad Haroon is an Assistant Professor at Iqra University, chak Shahzad campus, Islamabad, Pakistan. He is also working as an acting deputy head of computing and technology department at Iqra University. He received his Ph.D degree in Computer Science from University Institute of Information Technology (UIIT) of Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University (PMAS – AAR), Rawalpindi, Pakistan. He received his master degree in Computer Science in 2009 from Strayer University, Washington, D.C, United States of America. He is author of number of research publications in international journals or conferences proceedings. His major research interests involve Gesture Recognition, Human pose estimation, Human computer interaction, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence and Data Mining.

Publications

IU ORIC is thrilled to announce that 4 innovative packaging designs from IU have been granted design patents by the Intellectual Property Organization of Pakistan (IPO). A special endorsement to Dr. Baber Khan from the Media Sciences Department for his exceptional contributions.
