In a significant step toward strengthening international academic ties, Iqra University has signed a Virtual Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Istanbul Aydın University, Turkey. This strategic partnership aims to promote mutual collaboration in academic research, faculty exchange, and joint initiatives across various disciplines.
The MoU signing ceremony brought together key representatives from both institutions. From Istanbul Aydın University, Prof. Dr. İbrahim Hakkı AYDIN, Rector, and Dr. Osman Gültekin, Director of International Relations, joined the session. Representing Iqra University were Prof. Dr. Nassar Ikram, Vice Chancellor, and Mr. Aseem M. Rizvi, Registrar.
Prof. Dr. Ikram emphasised the importance of global partnerships, highlighting how they enrich the learning experience and broaden research opportunities. He praised Turkey’s academic progress and particularly noted the exceptional performance of science departments in Turkish universities.
Dr. Osman Gültekin expressed optimism about the future of this collaboration, stating:
