The Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) at IQRA University successfully convened its 12th Steering Committee Meeting in hybrid mode, bringing together distinguished internal and external members to review strategic progress, strengthen commercialization pathways, and advance the university’s innovation agenda.
The meeting featured comprehensive discussions on ORIC’s evolving commercialization framework, with focused strategies designed to guide projects and startups at varying stages of technical and market readiness toward sustainable industry integration. Promising ventures were highlighted as part of IU’s growing innovation portfolio, reflecting the university’s commitment to transforming research into real-world solutions through strategic partnerships, technical validation, and market alignment.
Significant milestones in research excellence were also acknowledged, including the successful securing of two NRPU-funded projects in the fields of climate-resilient education systems and AI & IoT-enabled mobile weather sensing, further reinforcing IQRA University’s expanding research footprint.
