IU ORIC 6th Ethical Review Board Meeting
The 6th Ethical Review Board meeting, organized by ORIC on June 30, 2025, focused on reviewing ongoing and new research applications, refining documentation practices, and reinforcing ethical review protocols. Key decisions included the issuance of NOCs, an exemption letter, and recommendations for applicant revisions where needed. The Board also acknowledged updates made to the Ethical Review documentation for better standardization.
Notably, this was the second ERB meeting conducted within the same month, reflecting the Board’s commitment to increased meeting frequency for more timely reviews and efficient processing of research submissions. Members reaffirmed their shared responsibility in upholding ethical standards across all research activities.
