ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Skill-Up Program is designed by IU-CORE to provide an opportunity to develop freelancing skills through hands-on training. This program offers comprehensive, practical courses in high-demand fields, equipping students with the essential knowledge and expertise to succeed in today’s competitive job market or pursue entrepreneurial ventures.
EXPECTED OUTCOMES
- Students will gain industry-ready skills in their chosen field, enabling them to pursue freelance work, internships, or entry-level positions.
- The program will encourage a culture of innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship, contributing to the student’s professional development.
TARGET AUDIENCE
- Currently enrolled students (1st Semester to 6th semester) in Karachi
- Alumni at Iqra University (representing any discipline and campus in Karachi)
COURSES OFFERED 1st COHORT
- Mobile App Development:
Learn to build cross-platform mobile applications using modern frameworks and technologies, with a focus on both Android and iOS platforms. - Video Editing, Animation, and Vlogging:
Dive into video content creation by learning video editing software, basic animation techniques, and strategies for creating compelling vlogs for platforms like YouTube. - Website Development:
Gain expertise in web development, from designing front-end interfaces to developing dynamic back-end functionalities using popular programming languages and frameworks.

Assessment |
Each student will be assessed through project work and assignments at the end of the course. A final project presentation or a live demonstration of their work will be part of the assessment.
