About the Program

Skill-Up Program is designed by IU-CORE to provide an opportunity to develop freelancing skills through hands-on training. This program offers comprehensive, practical courses in high-demand fields, equipping students with the essential knowledge and expertise to succeed in today’s competitive job market or pursue entrepreneurial ventures.

Expected Outcomes

  • Students will gain industry-ready skills in their chosen field, enabling them to pursue freelance work, internships, or entry-level positions.
  • The program will encourage a culture of innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship, contributing to the student’s professional development.

Target Audience

  • Currently enrolled students (1st Semester to 6th semester) in Karachi
  • Alumni at Iqra University (representing any discipline and campus in Karachi)
  • IU faculty & Staff

Program duration 8 weeks (Weekends)

Delivery mode
Face-to-face – EDC campus
Assessment
Each student will be assessed through project work and assignments at the end of the course. A final project presentation or a live demonstration of their work will be part of the assessment.
Certification
Upon successful completion of the course and final project, students will receive a certification from IU CORE, which will serve as an official acknowledgment of their expertise in the respective field.
