Hamydah Raees is a dedicated professional specializing in Space Science and Technology, with a focus on Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Data Science at NED University, where she aims to integrate her technical expertise and diverse academic background into her future role as a Lab Instructor in Computer Science. Her professional experience includes working as a Freelance Research Analyst since July 2023, where she engages in advanced GIS, spatial analysis, and report writing. Prior to that, she served as a GIS Analyst at EMC Pakistan Pvt. Ltd. from March to June 2023, contributing to projects involving mapping, hydrological modeling, and flood risk assessment. Earlier in her career, she taught Physics at Ayesha School of Learning, covering the complete curriculum for Class 9 and 10.
Hamydah holds an M.Sc. in Space Science and Technology from the University of Karachi, with a specialization in Remote Sensing and GIS, as well as a B.Sc. in Engineering with a focus on Mathematics, Statistics, and Physics. She is proficient in programming languages such as Python and C++, and skilled in data management and analysis using tools like NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-Learn.
