Biography

Dr. Irum Feroz joined Iqra University’s Computer Science department on 9th October 2023. She earned her PhD in Computing from the University of Portsmouth in the United Kingdom. Prior to that, she completed her MSc in Computer Science from the University of Lahore, Pakistan.

Dr. Feroz’s research interests are deeply rooted in the intersection of technology and human experience. She specializes in Health Informatics, Human Computer Interaction, Usability Framework Design, and Usability of Mobile Interfaces. Additionally, her work in Human-Centered Design and the Standardisation of Mobile Health Applications has contributed significantly to the field. Her dedication to enhancing the user experience in health-related applications and her innovative approach to technology make her a valuable member of our academic team.

Publications

IU ORIC is thrilled to announce that 4 innovative packaging designs from IU have been granted design patents by the Intellectual Property Organization of Pakistan (IPO). A special endorsement to Dr. Baber Khan from the Media Sciences Department for his exceptional contributions.
