Afsheen Fatima has been associated with Iqra University since 2022. She is a Senior Lecturer and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Society leader. She has been a recipient of the Turkiye Burslari Scholarship program for her Master’s in South Asian Studies & International Relations from Turkiye. She teaches different allied courses in Social Sciences such as Future Studies, International Relations, World History, Personal Development, and Sociology. Her areas of interest include leadership, media and politics, food security, identity politics, human rights, and sustainable development. She’s also an awardee of the Asia-Pacific Training Workshop on global citizenship education online training organized by APCEIU (Korea) and UNESCO which is devoted to imparting the values of tolerance and acceptance of diversity. She has also been selected for the Atlas Corps Virtual Leadership Institute fellowship for leadership and social impact project training. As a CSR society leader, she is engaged with students supervising them in their different social initiatives. She actively organizes guest speaker sessions, workshops, and other related programs for the students to equip them with the required skills to excel in this fast-paced world.
