Creating pathways from university classrooms to international workplaces, Iqra University hosted a Japanese
business delegation as part of its ongoing efforts to expand global career opportunities for graduates. Under the
leadership of Ms. Imaan Hunaid Lakhani, the Placement, Alumni & Corporate Liaison Department and International
Office organized the engagement in collaboration with Bros Japan Recruitment.
Connecting Graduates with the Japanese Job Market
The engagement focused on exploring overseas employment opportunities for Iqra University graduates across the
university’s 60+ disciplines. Discussions centred on connecting qualified graduates directly with potential
opportunities in Japan and creating stronger links between academic talent and international employers.
Building Industry and International Partnerships
The delegation included Bros Japan Recruitment leadership, Mr. Syed Rehan Ali, Managing Director; Mr. Umer
Khalid, Director of Operations; and Ms. Sara Amjad, Admin Manager, alongside Japanese business delegates Mr.
Mizutani Masataka, Mr. Takahashi Yosuke, Mr. Nakagawa Tomohiro, Mr. Orito Shiro, and Mr. Ohata Takeshi.
The discussions explored potential areas of future collaboration and opportunities to strengthen recruitment and
professional connections between Iqra University and organizations in Japan.

global career pathways for its graduates. The engagement concluded with Ms. Lakhani presenting souvenirs to the
visiting delegation, marking a productive exchange and the potential for continued collaboration.
