Iqra University Students Showcase Groundbreaking Tech Project

The students of Iqra University M9 Campus once again proved their creativity and technical excellence at a recent event showcasing innovative Final Year Projects (FYPs). The event highlighted the institution’s commitment to research, innovation, and practical learning, providing students with an opportunity to present their cutting-edge ideas to faculty, peers, and visitors.

Among the standout projects was VRET (Virtual Reality Therapy Exposure), an impressive solution designed to address acrophobia and social phobia through immersive 3D exposure scenarios. Using Unity-based environments, smartwatch heart-rate tracking, and WebGL  deployment, the project demonstrated how technology can be harnessed for mental health therapy—offering a user-friendly experience without requiring expensive VR headsets.

The event served as a platform for students to translate classroom learning into real-world applications. From concept to execution, each project reflected a blend of innovation, teamwork, and problem-solving — qualities that align with Iqra University’s vision of nurturing forward-thinking graduates who are ready to lead in the digital era.

Faculty members and guests praised the participants for their dedication and creativity, emphasizing how such projects contribute to Pakistan’s growing tech ecosystem. They also encouraged students to pursue their ideas beyond the classroom by exploring startup opportunities, collaborations, and research publications.

Events like these embody the true essence of Iqra University M9 Campus — a hub where ideas meet innovation and knowledge transforms into impact. The creativity, passion, and purpose displayed by the students reaffirm the university’s role in shaping the next generation of innovators, engineers, and entrepreneurs.
