The First International PhD Students’ Research Colloquium 2026, conducted at Iqra University, Pakistan, is envisioned as a premier academic forum dedicated to advancing doctoral research, scholarly excellence, and global academic collaboration. The colloquium will bring together PhD scholars, supervisors, and distinguished researchers from national and international institutions to present innovative research, exchange interdisciplinary perspectives, and engage in rigorous intellectual discourse. Designed to strengthen research capacity and foster a culture of critical inquiry, the event will feature paper presentations, thematic panels, mentoring sessions, and expert feedback to help participants refine their theoretical frameworks, methodologies, and scholarly contributions. 

By creating opportunities for networking, collaboration, and knowledge sharing, the colloquium aims to empower emerging researchers to address contemporary academic and societal challenges with evidence-based solutions. Ultimately, this initiative reflects Iqra University’s commitment to promoting high-quality research, ethical scholarship, and international engagement while nurturing the next generation of thought leaders and academics.

Evaluation Criteria for acceptance of Abstract

Abstracts will be reviewed by the Abstract Review Committee (ARC) based on:

  • Relevance to themes aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs)
  • Originality and novelty
  • Clarity of research problem and objectives
  • Theoretical and conceptual grounding
  • Methodological feasibility
  • Academic rigor, coherence, and clarity
  • Ethical considerations
Decision Outcomes

The Committee may make one of the following decisions for each submission:

  • Acceptance – Abstract meets all criteria and is approved for presentation
  • Conditional Acceptance – Abstract requires revisions before approval
  • Rejection – Abstract does not meet the required standards

Registration & Submission

Abstract Presenter Fee:

Each submission shall undergo a blind peer-review process. Authors will be notified via email upon acceptance of their abstract for presentation. The applicable fee shall be payable only after receipt of the acceptance notification.

  • National Presenter (Pakistan): PKR 5,000
  • International Presenter: USD 150

Participant Fee:

  1. The participant fee shall be paid at the time of online registration (applicable to students, faculty members, researchers, and academic professionals from Higher Education Institutions).

National Participant (Pakistan):

  • Professional Participant Fee: PKR 5,000
  • Student Participant Fee: PKR 3,000

International Participant:

  • Professional Participant Fee: USD 50
  • Student Participant Fee: USD 25
