IQRA University’s Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) successfully hosted a seminar on ‘From Idea to Asset: Mastering Intellectual Property Strategies’ with Ms. Tafseer Fatima, Senior Examiner of Patents and Designs and Certified WIPO Intellectual Property Trainer.
The seminar unlocked the power of Intellectual Property, providing valuable insights on protecting and monetizing innovations and turning ideas into valuable assets. Ms. Fatima elaborated on patent claim drafting, shared expert advice on claiming patency, and emphasized the global scope of IP protection, highlighting the way through to secure innovative ideas by patenting them nationally or internationally. Participants gained expert knowledge on IP strategies, and engaged in an interactive Q&A session.
