The Faculty of Media Sciences (FMS) stands as a pioneer in media education in Pakistan within the private sector, setting benchmarks of excellence in teaching, research, and practice. Since its inception as the Department of Media Sciences, and evolution into Faculty of Media Sciences (FMS), the department/faculty has played a leading role in developing the country’s academic landscape in film, media and communications, and creative industries. We take pride in offering a unique blend of academic rigor, cutting-edge film and media productions and technology, and strong linkages with the film and media fraternity and the Industry. We emphasize and enable the best of the experiences of the Industry for the students, focusing on faculty lead in theory and practice in the international markets.

With state-of-the-art production audio and video production studios, iMac and other advanced technology and computer labs, modern classrooms bearing multimedia projectors, and world-class editing, animation and game design facilities, we provide students an environment that mirrors real-world industry standards.

Our internationally recognized, highly qualified permanent faculty members, complemented by a rich pool of visiting professionals, renowned filmmakers, animators, game designers, creative and screenwriters, visualizers and advertising experts, creative and marketing strategists, media entrepreneurs, researchers, and alumni collaborate to ensure students are mentored by those shaping the Industry.
