Strong industry relationships extend beyond recruitment and create lasting opportunities for meaningful
collaboration. Iqra University hosted Corporate Connect 2026, bringing together valued industry partners who
participated in Job Fair 2026 for an afternoon of networking, appreciation, and professional exchange over Hi-Tea.
The gathering provided an opportunity to recognize industry partners and strengthen the connections built through
the university’s corporate engagement initiatives.
Welcoming Industry Partners
The session began with a welcome address by Yasir Zaheer, Head of Placement, Alumni & Corporate Liaison,
followed by an address by Dr. Zaki Rashidi, Campus Director, EDC. The gathering brought together representatives
from the corporate sector in an informal setting, creating an environment for interaction beyond the formal
recruitment activities of Job Fair 2026.
Connecting Through Meaningful Conversations
Corporate Connect 2026 provided a platform for industry partners and university representatives to engage in
professional conversations and exchange ideas. The informal setting encouraged meaningful interaction, allowing
participants to strengthen existing relationships and explore avenues for continued engagement between academia
and industry.
Building Long-Term Industry Relationships
The gathering reflected Iqra University’s continued efforts to build strong and lasting connections with the corporate
sector. By creating opportunities for engagement beyond recruitment events, the university fosters relationships that
can contribute to future collaboration, professional development, and career opportunities for its students and
graduates.
Through initiatives such as Corporate Connect 2026, Iqra University continues to strengthen its relationship with
industry partners and create meaningful platforms for academia and the corporate sector to connect, collaborate, and build opportunities beyond the job fair.
