Dr. Sameer Hashmat Qazi​

Dr. Sameer Qazi received the B.E. (Electrical) degree from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan, in 2001, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of New South Wales, Australia, in 2004 and 2009, respectively. He is currently working as Director of ORIC, IQRA University. From Sep 2016- Mar 2024, he was Head of the Electrical Engineering Department, the College of Engineering, Karachi Institute of Economics and Technology, Pakistan. Previously, he has worked as an Assistant Professor and the Head of the Electrical Engineering Department, DHA Suffa University, Pakistan (2015-2016) and as Assistant Professor with the Department of Electronics and Power Engineering, National University of Sciences and Technology, Karachi ( NUST-PNEC), Pakistan (2010-2015). He has also worked for a few years in the industry in WorldCALL Broadband Ltd .
