In collaboration with Iqra University North Campus, IU CORE conducted a session on Startup Financials and Exit Strategies in the course of Managing Entrepreneurial Ventures. The guest invited to deliver this session was Mr Furqan Karim Kidwai, currently working as a Director at ASF Tech Partners.
The first half of the session was based on guiding students regarding the Basics of Financial Management for Startups. The other half of the session was based on group-based activities consisting of estimating revenues and expenses for a startup and runway calculations, all of which are essential for the stability of a startup within the realm of high risk and uncertainty. The session was overall interactive and beneficial for the students and faculty.
