Iqra University, Placement and Corporate Liaison Department conducted a Seminar on the Recruitment Process of Siemens for Engineers Graduates.
Iqra University, Karachi – April 15, 2014 – Iqra University organized a seminar for the young engineering undergraduates and alumni, conducted by Siemens Pakistan, the leading player in the field of electronics engineering.
Mr. Arslan Naukhez, Director HR, Siemens commenced the session with an overview of the electronics industry; identifying Siemens Pakistan as a fast paced sector for electronics engineering graduates to be absorbed through a well-structured campus recruitment programme called the Graduate Recruitment Process.
Under the Graduate Recruitment Process, Siemens in Pakistan conducts an informative induction programme for graduates in the final semester of their respective courses. The fresh graduates are then recruited as:
• Graduate Trainee Engineers (GTEs),
• Diploma Trainee Engineers (DTEs),
• Management Trainees (MTs), or as
• Commercial Trainees (CTs)
To aid faster learning, Siemens in Pakistan conducts both classroom and on-the-job training. On completion of their training period, all the GTEs, MTs and CTs are absorbed in the Executive Grade (EG), whereas the DTEs are recruited in the Junior Executive Grade (JE) of Siemens.
