The program aims to provide an environment that fosters intellectual growth and stimulates creativity enabling the students to freely express their ideas in the realm of film and television. They will study different methods of storytelling, scriptwriting, and conceptualization that will give them the confidence to express their unique perspective through their projects.
The department will enrich students with strong technical knowledge of cameras, lights, and accessories that will equip them to maintain the standards of the fast-developing industry.
A graduate armed with critical thinking, a confident ability to ideate, and the experience in the required knowledge of film direction, production, and cinematography will harness the potential to become a pioneer of the industry.

The animation strand in the media department of the Iqra University is a place where talents flourish and ambitions become careers. The curriculum is designed to develop your artistic originality and equip you with the skills to find your personal voice as an animator, individually and professionally. Iqra trains multimedia artists and animators as one career group. Multimedia artists and animators often work in specific media. Some focus on creating animated movies or video games. Others create visual effects for movies and television shows. Creating computer-generated images (CGI) may include taking images of an actor’s movements and animating them into 3D characters
