The main objective of this society is to promote dialogue culture amongst the student of Iqra University. The society organizes various events of dramas, debates and speeches. The society is also responsible for taking part in the events related to drams and debates organized by other Universities in Pakistan. All of the activities under this society are organized and executed by the students of IUIC. The followings are some of the events planned by the IDDS each semester:

1. One in Campus Debates at the campus
2. One Inter Islamabad University Debates and Drama Competition in a academic year
3. Essay competition on various issues of national and international importance
4. Many other related activities – such as seminars, poster competition, etc

One complete week is dedicated for this society at IUIC in each semester/academic year.
Structure – of the Society: – The duration of member in the society will be for one year which start from 1st Oct each academic year.
